Course Levels

The RYA offers a clear progression from complete beginner to offshore skipper. I teach across the full range — wherever you are on your journey.

1. 01

   Start Yachting

   No experience needed

   Your very first steps on a sailing yacht. Get comfortable on deck, learn basic sailing principles and experience the joy of the water.

2. 02

   Competent Crew

   Beginner

   Become a useful and active member of a sailing crew. Learn to helm, handle sails, navigate and assist the skipper.

3. 03

   Day Skipper

   Intermediate

   Take charge of a yacht on short coastal passages in familiar waters during daylight. Includes theory and practical elements.

   Own Boat Tuition
